About Me

Born (1994) in Nairobi, Kenya. Currently living in Nairobi, Kenya.

Moved to Cape Town in 2014 to study at the Cape Town School of Photography. Thereafter, graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2017 with a BA in Film and Sociology.

Travel and Landscapes are usually the protagonists of her personal work. She intertwines her photography with a sociologist eye to share experiences from around the world and portray the realities. Her camera acts as her third eye, allowing her to connect with and understand her subject matter and therefore narrate a story.

Malde’s work ranges from Travel and Landscape photography to Events, Portraits, Objects and Food photography. She uses her blog as a medium of reinterpretation for her photographic experiences.
